Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Translate AI - Voice & Text (shown on your device as "AI Translator", the "App"), published by OXVENU ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

The App translates text, speech, and text in photos between languages. AI translation is performed by a third-party AI service; some features, such as offline translation, run on your device.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Free Tier

The App offers a limited number of free AI translations. Some features, such as voice, live, and camera translation, require a premium subscription.

Premium Subscriptions

• Subscriptions are offered on a weekly or yearly basis and are managed through the Apple App Store.
• We may offer a free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and your Apple ID is charged.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple according to its refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can restore previous purchases using the "Restore" option in the App.

Third-Party AI Service and Translation Accuracy

AI translations are produced by a third-party AI model. Text you submit for AI translation is sent to OpenRouter and processed by Anthropic's Claude model, as described in our Privacy Policy. The App asks for your consent before sending any text.

Machine translation can be inaccurate or miss context, tone, or meaning. Do not rely on the App for medical, legal, safety-critical, or other important communication without verifying the translation with a qualified human. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any translation.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to translate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
• Circumvent free-tier limits or subscription restrictions through technical means.
• Use the App in a way that could harm, disrupt, or overload the services it relies on.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, logos, and trademarks within the App are owned by or licensed to OXVENU. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You keep ownership of the text and photos you submit.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services, including Apple (App Store, speech recognition, and speech synthesis), Google ML Kit (on-device text recognition and offline translation), OpenRouter, and Anthropic. Your use of these features is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OXVENU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss or harm resulting from reliance on translations provided by the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the jurisdiction in which we operate.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
